Dr. Tower is Board Certified in Family Medicine and a member of the Harris County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association and American Academy of Family Medicine. She is fluent in both English and Spanish languages.
Dr. Tower attended medical school at Oklahoma State University college of Osteopathic Medicine, completing her residency with the University of Texas Family Medicine department in Houston in 2004. As a Faculty Physician she worked with the UT Aldine Community Health Clinic and LBJ Hospital. Her private practice experience includes urgent care and primary care practice with an emphasis on holisitic medicine and preventive health.
Dr. Tower's additional training includes successful completion of the Board examination with the American Board of Holistic Medicine as well as Dr. Andrew Weil's Integrative Medicine rotation, Dr. Herbert Benson's Mind Body Medicine program affiliated with Harvard University, John's Hopkins' Preventive Medicine rotation and additional coursework in Nutrition and Osteopathic medicine. Dr. Tower also completed the Complementary Medicine course affiliated with MD Anderson and served as a Facilitator for Dr. Naomi Remen's Healer's art course.
